Older Works 1989-1991

This page shows an assortment of my earlier works in various mediums. My sculpting life really began with the 4 medallions which were 6” in diameter. At the time I was under the spell of Romanesque art, and these medallions were influenced by church iconography of the period. I used these 4 reliefs cast in Hydrostone in different sculptural applications- using wood, faux finishes and metal leaf- with each becoming an amalgam of ancient- modern elements.
