Life and Art is a journey of Discovery. From the beginning my creative goals were to follow my interests and intuition to see what I was capable of, and to find my niche.

Inspired by antiquity every decade or so I would pour my Life into a new medium. Being primarily self-taught there was lots of trial and error, and I fell down a few rabbit holes that took time to work through. In the process I’ve discovered things that no one could teach me, and unique ways to make my art.

I know I want to continue sculpting and use color and interesting finishes in my work, along with the magic of precious metal gilding. My goal is to stay true to my vision and make the best work I possibly can, regardless of time or material cost. All of my art is created by hand and heart, not with AI or excessive computer aids. I also know I have not done my best work yet…

Currently I have several projects in the works. Such as bas-reliefs on a larger scale, and a life-sized leopard head in the round (wow!) and a raptor coming this summer. The newest sculpts will be in a more streamlined style and I’m very excited about that because it’s new and freeing to me.
